A sneaky scorpion who happened to be present at the gathering was responsible for using an unconscious character to ring in the new year for the first time in the game's history. On New Year's Eve in New Horizons, players and villagers can come together to say goodbye to a year of adventure and welcome in a brand new year of opportunities to work on exciting new projects and achieve game objectives.

Even though the vast majority of New Horizons' gameplay is peaceful and relaxing in general, a few island critters can be a nuisance for those who aren't paying close attention to their surroundings. Players will benefit from clearing out any critters ahead of time in order to pose for New Year's Eve photographs, and they will make a quick profit in Bells as a result of doing so. On the other hand, the unexpected moments that occur in Animal Crossing: New Horizons islands can help you create some of the best memories while also providing you with a hilarious story to tell your friends about your adventures.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, a player's recreation of Hyrule Castle, inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, was recently discovered. The recreation included a real, glowing Malice statue and various other details. Should be noted that the artwork in question was created by Naydinfar-Crossing23, a Reddit user who is well-known among many ACNH fans for his contributions to the community.

While the ill-timed bug attack may appear to be something that Nintendo should have removed from the New Horizons events, the inclusion of the event actually benefits the game's premise. A number of risks are associated with the decision to establish a town on a deserted island, and while hurricanes and floods do not appear to be a concern for town residents, the inclusion of irritable wildlife adds a realistic element to gameplay. Because players must participate in late-night events such as New Year's Eve outside in the plaza, it serves as a reminder that even a town that has grown and prospered can still harbor some of the natural dangers that existed before the town was built and prospered.

Isabelle will give you a Light Stick, which you may wave about with your folks as the clock nears midnight. You will also get Party Poppers from Tom Nook. You'll be able to buy more if you use them all. It costs 300 Bells to buy five Party Poppers.

A special New Year's Hat may be purchased for 500 Bells as an additional way to commemorate the day. Party hats are available in two distinct forms, both of which have sequins and the phrase "Happy New Year" embroidered on the inside.

You may win 1,000 Nook Miles, the titles "Celebratory" and "Merrymaker," and other in-game rewards by celebrating New Year's Eve in-game.

The countdown will begin automatically without further action from you. The enormous timer will start ticking at exactly 12:01 a.m. on December 31st, and your people will gather around it to welcome in the new year. When the clock strikes zero, fireworks will begin to explode and will continue until 2 a.m. Animal Crossing: New Horizons has its annual New Year's Eve Countdown event on the 31st of December! Starting at 5 a.m., Resident Services will have event decorations available for purchase, but the real fun won't begin until 11 p.m, when the evening events really get going.

The New Year's Eve Countdown, unlike most of Animal Crossing's seasonal events, does not need the installation of any updates or the purchase of any version letters because it was included in the game's inaugural release. You may also spend some time getting there ahead of time.
