Didn't Your Mom Teach You Not To Slouch?

8842928080?profile=originalThat's So New YorkSlouched crotch shorts are just one of the many designs by Tim Hamilton, one of the most interesting top American designers there are in the fashion industry. His eclectic taste is revered by many and what started out as American high end sportswear has metamorphosed into Euro youth apparel. Still somewhat keeping to the theme of sportswear, Hamilton has included some interestingly key fabric choices for his garments like rubber/vinyl and neoprene for jackets and even tar-covered boots!

The new direction of Hamilton has intrigued many fashion designers, models and photographers alike. With youth being the focus, you’ll see more after dark inspired looks like black skinny trousers, dark galoshes and raincoats, and sleek trenches. Hamilton has also shown us his diversity in creating oddly shaped garments like his renown slouch shorts, which feature buttons across the front that form a diagonal line as well as the markedly low crotch that gives the wearer that completely casual appeal. He also plays around with proportions, so you may see cropped sweaters with long sleeves and wide necklines with lengthy shirts. Many of Hamilton’s sweaters, tee shirts and jackets all resemble the overly slouched style which many guys love. To get Tim Hamilton’s runway looks shop Bergdorf Goodman and/or Barneys.
