What is the Ovations Teal Design Competition?

Ovations for the Cure of Ovarian Cancer is proud to be a part of Boston Fashion Week 2010!
On September 25th, Ovations will be presenting a special four-hour CHIC event at Boston's Four Seasons Hotel. The event will feature two renowned fashion designers and... a Teal Design Competition, open to anyone (ages 18 and up), students and professional fashion designers alike. Enter your teal dress designs, concepts and sketches, and voters will decide the three Semi-Finalists! If you come out as a Semi-Finalist, your design will be presented on the runway at CHIC @ Four Seasons Boston!

How do I submit my teal dress design?

First, visit the Ovations Teal Design Competition registration page. When you click "Register Here," you must read the participant waiver/agreement. It is very important that you read this thoroughly, because it highlights everything you need to know about how the contest works. By clicking "I agree," you promise to abide by all the contest rules and regulations.

Next, fill out the registration form. Make sure to list all colors, fabrics/materials, any stylistic embellishments used, and what inspired in your dress design. After completing the registration form, upload two images (one of the front of your dress design, and one of the back) to your designated website space. We'll be accepting submissions between May 1, 2010 and July 31, 2010. Best of luck!

How do I vote for my favorite design?

Each vote requires a $1 donation to the design of your choice. Voting is unlimited. Therefore, if you make a $50 donation, that counts as 50 votes. Vote often, because every dollar you contribute goes toward helping Ovations in its relentless pursuit of finding a cure for ovarian cancer. Click here to vote!
