What is the program?
The premise of the designer consignment program is to consign a specificamount of items from a designers current or previous collection, eitherthey be samples or overstock for over a select period of time. Duringthis time the Couture House will loan out items under a strict garmentcare agreement, taking on full liability for the garments, to stylistfor photo shoots, celebrity clients and fashion events. As part of theagreement consignment the designers has the option to release items tobe available for purchase to private and celebrity clients, as well asthe Couture House Pop-Up Boutique that travels all over Los Angeles.
What benefits do I receive as a designer?
At NO cost to the designer you receive free press exposure, freemarketing, access to the Couture House community and a resolution toselling samples and overstock. There is NO cost to the designer at all.
How does the process work?
The Couture House works closely with the designer to draft out aspecific consignment agreement to the designers requests. Once theagreement has been reached we send out a professional stylist to pullfrom your collection and/or stock. We request a min of 10 items for amin consignment period of two weeks. Once that period has expired itemsare returned and sold items paid for by TCH (wholesale +plus tax), atthat time another specified amount of items will be pulled again. Anagreement typically last for about 6 months and the designers can sethow many pulls per month and how many items can be pulled. We do askthat you work within some minimum requirement but we will always striveto be flexible with the designer.
