In the add for the new Chanel store opening this upcoming Septemeber is a famous plus size model, Crystal Renn. Renn walked to Chanel Resort Show, but for this picture her body just didn't seem to make into the image. As fashion is leaning toward the once forbidden word "normal" when disscussing models, Karl Lagerfeld does not seem to follow along. Why is Lagerfeld holding back? Maybe it is the fact that in 2009 Lagerfeld was quoted stating, "No one wants to see cury women", where he expressed is opinion regarding a magazine saying they were going to be putting an end to overly thin models and embracing "real women". Lagerfelds "narrow" mind for "narrow" taste may not want to change any time soon, but you never know what will happen as the fashion industry endures this "curvy" road to a revolution.
