Ok it’s time. It’s time to really leave those sneakers and sweatpants behind you and show the world just how STYLISH you really are. A really good friend of mine, who works in the finance world, keeps telling me that at work the coworkers are really dressing down and frumpy. If there is one thing that really sends me over the edge it’s this… since when does the American professional business man / woman decide that dressing frumpy is deemed suitable???? The women that work at this company wear these polyester dresses that go from dryer to office and then this company actually has a wear your denim to work on Fridays. My friend said most people show up wearing these faded blue jeans that are ripped and torn. I’m sorry but I would have to do a Donald Trump on everyone’s butt there and say ‘You’re FIRED.” I’m literally baffled here as to why Americans have gotten so lazy when it comes to dressing up? I guess it’s time I stop ranting and start blogging about my post today… I found this gorgeous simple chic black top by Tibi that I think is simply beautiful and elegant. Tibi designs clothing that are ultra modern and sleek, clothes that go from office to evening in a bat of an eye. To me that’s sexy. I put this black Tibi top with this 2 piece pant suit by Alberto Makali. For Fall 2010 Alberto Makali has a polished and put together collection with textures of faux fur, pleather, taffeta and luxurious fabrics. Alberto Makali gives you fashion that is coming of age so to speak. Skirts that are dramatic but delightfully easy and downbeat. The front tie on this jacket is just that – delightful.
