In the traffic safety movement, reflective materials are often distributed in street campaigns and traffic safety classrooms, but the prefectural police analyzed that few people took home and pasted them on their shoes. Currently, I am trying to help paste it on the spot. As the slogan of the movement, it is a reliable existence that protects itself just by attaching the reflective material. If you have reflective tape at hand, I would like you to use it.

It is also necessary to call attention to people who have few opportunities to experience enlightenment activities. During the period of exercise, the prefectural pharmacist association will distribute 800-story reflectors and enlightenment leaflets to the store at 800 pharmacies.

Accidents will not go away unless the number of people who are committed to traffic safety is increasing. Prefectural police and traffic organizations are required to further expand efforts to reach out to people with precautions and messages to prevent accidents.

Enhance driver awareness is also essential. As of the end of August, the prefectural police have detected 2282 cases, 679 more than the same period of the previous year, as they did not stop even though pedestrians were trying to cross the pedestrian crossing. It is a number that tells how the driver is not turning to pedestrians.

From autumn to winter, the number of children and elderly people who go home after dark will increase. Dusk hours before and after sunset are particularly prone to accidents. It is important to make it possible to detect pedestrians and bicycles that are going to cross early by turning on the lights earlier than usual or by turning the lights upward when there is no car ahead.
