Ashley Greene’s Bridesmaid Dress in Breaking Dawn

Undoubtedly, as fans of the Twilight vampire saga, you are eager to witness Bella Swan and Edward Cullen's lavish wedding ceremony.

Although there's still no sign of the hotly-anticipated bridal gown, to be worn by actress Kristen Stewart, only a glimpse of Bella's white stone wedding ring, jewelled hair clip and veil have been given. Now, we've been given an image of Alice Cullen's flapper-inspired bridesmaid dress she wears at the ceremony to quell our intrigue.

In the newly-released picture Ashley Greene, who plays Edward's sister in the movies, is seen sitting alongside her beau Jasper Hale and parents Carlisle and Esme Cullen as they watch the wedding.

Greene's character channels the 1920s in the lilac frock with silver stripes, marking her life before she was turned into a vampire.

Alice was converted into a vampire in 1920 at the age of nineteen and her pretty bridesmaid dress is the perfect symbol of her past era, with its fringed hem and her cropped hair.

The actress explained in August: 'We wanted to have all the bridesmaids fit together and also have their own identity. So, we took a little bit of Alice’s past and put it into her dress.'

And Greene admits she's pleased with the final outcome of her dress, despite having initial teething problems: 'I didn’t love the corset. There were corsets in them and we took them out by the end of the movie.

'We were just like, ‘We don’t care!’ There’s dancing and stuff like that so that was the only part that I didn’t like because that was uncomfortable, but once the corset came out I loved it.'

Why not pick out some prom dresses and little black dresses that you can always have in your wardrobe for a special occasion “back up” outfit? Chic and elegant special occasion dresses are really a must-have for a huge amount of women.
