Adele Simpson started her life out as a child performer in vaudeville dancing with Milton Berle and then she became a fashion designer after she completed her design curriculum at the Pratt Institute.    She introduced medium priced line of clothing in New York in 1949 and adapted the French couture and presented it with an American ready to wear translation.  She won a Coty Award and dressed several First Ladies.  She was very well known in the 70′s & 80′s for designing beautiful dresses and retired in the 80′s.  Her items are very collectible and this red carpet worthy dress with pockets show us just that.  This late 70′s dress is stunning, there are no other words to say about it.  The quality is all there, the design is all there and did I tell you it has pockets???   Loved finding this treasure.   I’m Daniel Troppy your luxury curator!
