Creating the perfect wardrobe for spring and summer takes skill, persistence, and restraint. Skill because you need to have a discerning eye for what looks good. Persistence because it takes awhile to find just the right item, and even when you find it you may need to go after it more than once before you are able to lay hands on it. Restraint because you need to avoid purchasing items on a whim and be conservative, spending your money wisely. When you are ready to master these three attributes, you will be well on your way to becoming a wardrobe overhaul master.
Reworking your wardrobe takes a lot of skill. Learning which items are in and out is the easy step. Fashion magazines, the internet, television- all of these types of media let us know what is hot and what is not. The skill lies in determining what looks good on you. Not every body type is the same, that is why they are called body types! As well, everyone has slightly different colored eyes, hair, skin, nails, teeth, lips, and so on. Picking out clothes that fit your body perfectly takes time and is a skill that you must develop.
You need to be persistent when you are crafting the perfect warm weather wardrobe. Not every item you see will end up meshing well with the rest of the items that you have picked out. Likewise, just because you see an item you like does not mean it will be available when you want it. Sometimes you need to be patient and wait things out.
It’s also important to have some restraint when you are shopping. Strolling through the mall and picking out whatever it is that you want in the moment is not going to serve you well at all. Instead, take some time to identify what you want, and wait for the best deals to pop up online.
By the time you have mastered these three skills, you will have put together one awesome wardrobe.
