"My wife and I married in 2013 in the First Unitarian Church of Baltimore. A few months before our ceremony the terrible carpets covering the sanctuary floors, built in 1818, were pulled up to reveal the original hardwood floors. Moments after the minister said we were wife and wife, the entire congregation stomped their feet loudly against the floors, creating quite a roar. "We eloped to New York in 2013. There was a snowstorm and the location for the ceremony and reception fell through, so we had to scramble for a backup. I never saw my wedding gown until the afternoon of the wedding when my mother showed up with it from Colorado!
