The answer to this equation didn't come to me overnight - to be honest, I have never been good at maths so it took me quite a while, but I can proudly say that it all makes sense now, to me at least! My father is a great journalist with a true sense of style and fashion and my mother, a woman of distinguish taste, keeps things chic and delicate - He is always reading or writting while she rather spend a whole day in a museum or in a channel boutique - I guess you can say that I am a good mixture of both. After countless days of searching what the perfect fit would be for me (from wanting to design clothes, writting a novel/biography, hosting a TV Show, Owning a boutique to becoming a make-up artist...and the list goes on) it all occured to me while I was attending a Fashion Show. I realized that reporting what I had seen at the show was by far the most exciting part to me - talking to the designers, analyzing the clothes coming down the runway, networking...all this buzz was what Fashion represented to me and since then, I went all out.I have attended the Ottawa Fashion Week as a Freelance Reporter and now I just got accepted as one of the Fashion Contributor for the Substance Magazine - an Ottawa Based Fashion magazine, I am running my blog http://www.miss-sly.com where I report all my Fashion Madness. Things will all fall in place, just a little patience and continuous effort will do the trick. My word to anyone out there - Listen to yourself, know who you are and it will all come together,Ciao for now!
