In our experience, there are at least four different types of Sephora shoppers: the beauty guru spewing words like “consistency” and “pigmentation” at the sales clerk; the confused tourist buying
everything in sight; the skeptic complaining about the prices under her breath. Today’s target, however, is the monochromatic shopper. She’s usually in the early teens (just being introduced to makeup) or in the later years (with her daily makeup routine down to a science). These particular clients’ lipstick is always the exact shade of red as their eyeshadow, nails, purse, and even shoes. It’s rarely a compliment to be called matchy-matchy when it comes to clothes—it’s even worse when it
applies to your look.
