Self-proclaimed shoe fanatic Jessica Pritchett has created a brand that has caused a stir of interest from fashion conscience consumers, taste-makers and industry-insiders. Feeling a frustration of limited fashionable shoes for sizes larger than 10, Jessica pursued her dream of footwear design, leaving her 10-year corporate career in the music business.
Eagerly enrolling in footwear design classes, Jessica eventually became the student of respected shoemaker Emily Putterman, who guided Jessica through various stages of footwear design from sketching to shoe finalization, as well as briefly being the apprentice for Dutch footwear designer Hester Vlamings. Inspired by graphic painter Josef Albers, Jessica has incorporated rich vibrant colors, quality leathers and hardware sourced through the world into each footwear design as well as including a chunkier heel that makes each shoe sturdier and long-lasting.
Jessica Pritchett's challenge is to build a contemporary footwear line that speaks to the fashion, trends, and tastes of the urbane fashionista as well as the everyday woman. Not only does the collection offer edgy renditions on classic French styling, but also a large range of sizes so that a woman with any shoe size can enjoy. In the long-term, Jessica Pritchett strives to be the go-to brand for an innovative approach to traditional shoe styles and fulfilling her footwear philosophy "For Women Who Live for Shoes"
With press mentions and reviews in New York Newsday, Vogue Italia, Nawja Moses' Styleaholics, Plus Model Magazine and a number of style blogs.....brand expansion is inevitable.
