Well, I develop fashion industry websites. Therefore, I guess you can say
Currently have approx. 20 years experience in the fashion industry. Time sure does fly...
Hello everyone... I really hope you enjoy the Fashion Industry Network. For years, I have been developing fashion sites and this is my first attempt at creating a method for members of the fashion industry to communicate directly with one another.
The idea of this site is for fashion designers to meet fashion designers, production managers to meet production managers, stylists to meet stylists, pattern makers to meet pattern makers etc.
You are welcome to promote your fashion industry product or service. HOWEVER, please try not to make it sound like a commercial. The goal is to make legit business contacts so that we can keep the world of fashion spinning. Again, you may promote your business as this is actually the purpose of the site. Please do not be too pushy with your attempts to solicit business.
If you see people abusing the site with non relevant information, please let me know and we will try to quickly remove their posts. We truly need your support to help keep this site beneficial for everyone. Please understand that as a user of this site, you are part of the team. Lets all work together to keep the site working as originally intended.
If you are interested in helping support the Fashion Industry Network, we would appreciate a donation to help us pay the cost of operating the network. Donate to the Fashion Industry Network.
This week I have decided to experiment with new layouts for the Fashion Industry Network.
In summary, you will start seeing new layouts for the site begin to appear in the very near future. The layout will change from time to time so that we can figure out which works the best. Our goal is to make the site look good on both the desk top as well as mobile devices.
If you have pre-set a layout for your profile, it is very possible that the system I am implementing may change…Continue
If you notice unusual posting in any area of the site, please do not hesitate to let me know. When people begin posting the same message over and over again in the forum, or post something that is clearly spam, it is important that they are banned from the network.
For those of you that are new to FIN or possibly do not know me, please understand that we are not a large company with tons of people working to keep the site clean. This…Continue
For those of you that utilize the Pinterest service, I have added a feature this evening on the Fashion Industry Network that will make it easier for you to pin photos from this site onto your own boards. If you hover over a photograph you should see toward the top left side of the image a button that says "Pin It". If you click the pin it button, it should start the process...
Try it below on this image is you wish.…Continue
