    Welcome to the Fashion Industry Network. I agree with Jesse's comments from below. The best first step is a fashion school. The industry is more complicated that simply creating a nice design. You may need to learn about manufacturing, importing, retail math etc. Anyway, if you do wish to try school, you can find a list of fashion schools at http://www.apparelsearch.com/education_schools_fashion.htm

    If you are not interested in school, that is fine too...
