You are too kind....that picture was taken at the Apparel BC Annual Fashion Gala. A friend and colleague of mine is a corsetiere and I am wearing one of her masterpieces. She is in the picture too (I cropped her off) and we were in the major Vancouver newspaper the following week. Lots of fun! I should send you the full picture! Your wife would look amazing in one of her corsets! www.laceembrace.com

Yes, family life is awesome....I look at my youngest every morning when I get her up at 7 am and can't believe my husband and I created such a beautiful thing!

That is cool that you have worked up here. My husband lived in Toronto for a while (but he's not in fashion lol).

Yes I know some of menswear contractor. They produce Knit, woven or denim, and sweater. They also have good factory.
They can fulfill your any kind of requirement.

My hunch was correct.....pdf's cannot be converted back to dxf.... :-(

Congrats on the new position at Theory!

I'm pretty sure that you can't change a pdf back into dxf. pdf stands for portable document file (if I remember correctly) and it is kind of the lowest level file that you can convert to from MANY other file types, so a lot of "behind-the-scenes" information is lost when saving as a pdf.

I have a colleague that used to be a consultant for Optitex (what I use) and I will run the question by her to confirm and get back to you.

thanks for the friend request .. it has always been a dream to be a designer but I have no idea where to start. I design clothes and shoes in my head and want to get them out. Where can I look for manufactures to make my creations? How do I start small? I would like to start with one item, selling it exclsively online untill I build a following/brand. Would love to hear any input or advice you may have. thanks
