  • Hi Lori:

I found the comments that you and Christie Williams shared to be inspirational. It made me stop and truely thank God for just being there!

I read your info and I think that I would love to explore the possibiltiy of participating in your fashion show. I am a jewelry designer and I have a collection: http://www.noeslla.com/gallery/Spring-Collection-2008 but I also specialize in custom work. I really love the one of a kind and limited edition arena. I have done that for many years now and several boutiques accross the country that like the unique carry my line.

I would love to talk with you further about that if you are interested. My email is info@noeslla.com
  • Yes, my target market is most definetly the same as yours. Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it.

  • Thanks Lori,
I contacted someone at Century 21 today and she gave me a few leads but still it wasn't what I was really looking for. Do you know of any great sites online that are reputable that I may order merchandise from?
  • Lori - welcome to the Fashion Industry Network.. If you have any questions about this site please do not hesitate to ask. By the way, if you are looking for new designers, in addition to finding GREAT people here at this site, you can also go to ApparelSearch.com From the left border of main page, click the link to "fashion" In that section you will find link to "fashion designers". Maybe that will help you.
  • Hi Lori,
Living in Texarkana doesn't offer a great variety of clothing styles. When you buy an outfit you usually meet yourself 2 or 3 times because someone else has the same thing on and I so don't like that. Fashion is my passion, even when i was a little girl, my mother said I had a sense of style. All of my life I've wished that I had went to school to become a fashion designer in New York but life happened. I got married, had twin girls and a third daughter. Now my twins have moved to dallas, my youngest just graduated high school and is in college and i finally quit a job that God had not ordained for me, and I decided to pursue my purpose and destiny and use the gift that God gave me to fullfill my longing for fashion. God gave me a vision to open up an upscale boutique, from the name of the boutique to the painting and decor of it to the quality of clothing and I'm going for it. I have a business plan and tried to get money from the banks but they turned me down and although i got discouraged, I didn't lose my faith. I knew that God would bring to pass that which He showed me. God began to place me on people's heart, several people have given me financial blessings that has enabled me to have more than enough to start this business and the best part is each person said, God placed you on my heart and told me to give you this money because I believe in you!!!! God is awesome!!!! I'm still looking for a location, It has to be a location that's out of the box, but in the mean time I want to go ahead and start getting my merchandise so I'll be ready. I encourage you to continue to let God lead you and i know that he is going to do more than you can ever think or even imagine. Congratualations on your boutique and Production Company, please email me and tell me more about it. Maybe we can work together on something.
