About Me
My name is Shantel Davis, I am from Miami Florida. I am a Seamstress and Fashion Designer. My line is called Colors Are Beautiful. It was established in October of 2012. I started drawing ever since I was eleven. I learned how to sew at the age of thirteen in Home Economics. I also hold an associate degree in Fashion Design. My designs are unique, ones that you don't normally find in retail stores. My purpose of designing is to inspire Fashion Designers to never give up on their dreams. Keep on knocking because one day that door will open. The majority of what I design is by free-hand, pattern making and using commercial sewing patterns. So I do it all. I love using solid colors, design prints and animal prints. Without Color it will be boring. I design clothes that will be an eye opener. I believe Fashion Design is an art, it is not to be overlooked.
Fashion Industry Experience
I attended Parsons School Of Design to study Fashion Design. So I work in fashion on my own, but I have other Fashion Designers that I work with that I also help to build their clothing line.
