  hi.its a pity i didnt make the semi-finals,but still you left me with a glimmer of hope,when meilling told me i was to young it crushed me.but i understand,i made myself and parents proud of me.i loved the experience,as long as it lasted,i promised myself to come back next year greater than before.i just wish it could come fast,i know great things come to those who wait.
  oh...i am thinking of having fashion show at my school,with clothes designed by me,so...i was wondering if your not to busy,if you can come.(i'm not ready to give up on fashion yet)
  please,my birthday is november 22,it would be perfect for a birthday present,for me to be able to attend the fashion show on the 14-16,send the date and time please,oh and price.

  ...It makes me feel so immensely motivated, to know that u see so much potential in me...because if you could believe in me so much, then I really am going to try to put more than my best foot forward and I am taking this opportunity so seriously!...because this really is a wonderful, once in a lifetime opportunity, that I cannot stop being, ever so grateful for...thank u!!!.. :oD...and yes I defintely am not gonna stop reaching for the stars...:o)

  .....Mr Nathan...I cant even begin to find all the words that I would like to...to express my humble gratitude and to tell you how much you touched me on Sunday...
  
  .....Mr Nathan...I definitely understood what you told me on Sunday when I showed up very late for the show...I understand that even if things may not be going too well for me..to always remember if I have a committment to always try to stick to it and follow it through....so I am not trying to make up any excuses for my being late...but I just wanted to let u know what really happened...
  
  .....Well as I told u, I was very ill for pretty much the entire week...I was in a lot of pain to the point of wanting to black out and I did not go to work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday..because I HONESTLY could not make it...I tried to force myself to go work on Thursday morning..dressed and everything..but the pain was so extreme that every step I took, I felt like collapsing and blacking out cause I was just so weak and in so much pain...
  So by Saturday, I began feeling better, but was not 100% and on Sunday, the same...so it took me a little longer than usual to get ready to leave home...
  
  .....Even before I began to get ready, however, my mother kept telling me that she thought I should stay home and not go anywhere...and then she became even more negative when I finally began to get ready...she was telling me things like how my hair was looking really bad...and I was putting on "cake" on my face and she just did not like how I looked overall....and added to me not feeling well...the negativity did not help my confidence and esteem at all...and Mr Nathan, honestly, I had to gather all of my strength mentally, emotionally and physically to pick up myself and leave home to come down to Coco Lounge...
  
  .....When I finally pulled up by Coco Lounge...I had stressed myself out so much...that I was feeling very nauseous and light headed...and I was on the verge of tears...because I was afraid of what you would say..afraid that my mother was right and I was looking foolish...and I was about to turn the car around and go back home...
  
  .....but then I began to breathe and I began to calm and settle myself and I told myself that I needed to get out of this car and despite how I was feeling physically and emotionally...that I was going to get out of this car and walk into Coco Lounge...take my buff from you..LOL..or my rejection or take whatever I had to take...and be strong!...
  
  .....When you finally told me that despite being late, you were going to let me go on to do the course...I felt even more light headed...LOL...because I was in complete shock...I was stunned that you still wanted to work with me...and I felt like crying joyful tears...but I was in so much shock is like my mind and body was never more out of sync...and the tears didnt come...I was just in awe!....its weird...but thats the best i can explain it...
  
  .....So now that I have given you my essay..LOL..I just wanted to tell you how much..in this little space of time that I have become acquainted with you...you have given me more hope, encouragement, motivation, inspiration and belief...than some of the very people who are supposed to be the closest to me in my life..................I thank God to no end, for presenting this opportunity to me and for allowing the opportunity to come through you Mr Nathan...thank you so much for believing in me...I am going to try with all my might to make you proud and to repay you for your kindness...thank you and God bless you, Mr Nathan, for all that you are doing for us young people and for the entire Fashion Industry in Trinidad...I know that all your efforts will not go unrewarded...and you will be blessed in many ways for them...

  hi hi!u can't remember me but you came to my school,San Juan Gov't Secondary and told all the interested fashion student about t&t fashion and design institute.now you have chosen me as asemi-finalist for next week,i was shocked.i mean me....14...a semi-finalist, it was amazing.i beat people who had experience and who was older than me,you surely have seen something in me.i was so unsure about coming in for the screening cause i am really young and in experience.you told me i definitely had a fashion look and that made me so happy.
  Mr.Nathan please don't think i am a average teen.i have style and class.i will like to model within your company,own a restaurant(so you can eat for free..lol),become an event manager.
  i cant wait for sunday,see you there,may god bless and be with you.amen.

  I do believe you have potential to be a great model but you must believe in your ability....we can do so much.
  
  Build your self esteem
  Live a healthy lifestyle eat sensibly excercise regurlarly and you will be a winner.

  Mr Nathan...I sincerely and earnestly want to thank you soooooooooo much from the bottom of my heart...for selecting me to go on to the semi finals...thank you!...you helped me to believe in myself and believe that I really can do this if i put my mind to it!..I was so flattered and honoured that you chose me!..and if I am chosen to go on to finally do the workshop...I know it definitely will be a pleasure to work with u!...because I saw how cool and genuine u are as a person..and I know it will be fun to work with u!...but I also can tell u are a no nonsense person..and that is definitely understandable...I really do see that u really want to help mould and sculpt and uplift us youths and to bring out the best in us!....
  Again thank you thank you thank you....to you and your awesome team for helping me out so much last night...it was a wonderful experience...although i couldn't feel my feet by the time we were finished...lol...but I enjoyed it to the fullest!
  I really am looking forward to seeing you this Sunday again, please God....
