It means a lot from you. I take this site personally and care about the members as well.
my mom, who passed in May last year was taken advantage of by scammers from Nigeria and gave thousands to them and a few laptops before we caught it and put a stop to it. They prey on peoples dreams, good will, and want for success and money. They hurt my mom, they hurt my family. She died with the delusion that a Caucasian South Afrrican Ranch owner loved here and wanted to marry her, she was 72yrs. old. She could have spent all that wasted time with her Grandchildren that loved and adored her.
They have a system here, they set up a few bogus identities with fake profiles then they comment each other to see if it works, then move forwards to hit members. Scamming is a numbers game, sooner or later you will hit a mark. They try to get the member to contact them on their personal email to get them off the site. Evil works better in the dark. They use many approaches but the main end is either money transfer, or identity information. When they get your information they can triangulate to get the rest. They have people that work for them in the US if they want to check an address, grab mail find an account. They will often having acquired some of your information they will for some faked reason deposit money in your account, this is how they get in.
