  Dear Amiah
  I am a 19 year old student studying at Southampton Solent university taking a 3 year course in fashion styling hair and make up design. I am in my first year and I want to start exploring the best methods of entering the industry. I am writing to you to ask what particular qualifications or experience you look for when hiring stylists or assistants to stylists.
  Any guidance you could provide would be most appreciated as I am keen to start work as soon as possible but I am unsure of the best direction to take.
