Guoman hotels has teamed up with renowned millinery designer, J Smith Esquire, to create five bespoke hats - one for each of the five hotel's greeting doormen.  Launched at the start London Fashion Week (Spring/Summer 2012 Collections), the collaboration is entitled 'Guoman presents J Smith Esquire: 5'.  The hats are all unique designs which have been exclusively created and handmade for Guoman Hotels by the millinery label's owner and founder, Justin Smith, in his London studio.  Two exhibitions - on view at The Royal Horseguards and Charing Cross hotels - have been curated by Gemma Williams to celebrate the launch of the doorman hat collection and will also showcase couture collaborations and archive pieces from the last five years of Justin's work.

New Era Enlists Alec Baldwin and John Krasinski to Represent Baseball's Most Epic Rivalry between New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox.

New Era unveiled its 2011 Major League Baseball (MLB) marketing campaign celebrating epic rivalries and team pride. The campaign features 30 Rock's Alec Baldwin and The Office's John Krasinski in a series of commercials where they demonstrate the true meaning of team rivalry.

In the TV spots, which will begin airing on April 8th, Alec Baldwin, an avid Yankees fan, and John Krasinski, a passionate Red Sox fan, exchange some friendly back and forth trash-talking about each other's teams.

What is London Designers Fashion Show?

The London Designers Fashion Show (L.D.F.S.) is an innovative, vibrant, new fashion event, which aims to assist, celebrate and enhance the careers of the next generation of up and coming, London-based, fashion designers.

Exhibitors will benefit from the high profile online and off-line marketing campaign, access to 1,000 visitors, the opportunity to develop links to major fashion brands and generate sales for products and services.

Trade buyers can source new collections from emerging and creative designers exhibiting couture to customised fashion, lingerie and accessories including handbags, hats, jewellery and footwear etc.

London Designers Fashion Show offers a sneak preview at some of the hottest collections before they get snapped up on the high street.

London Designers Fashion Show is currently looking for fashion designers from all ethnic backgrounds to exhibit at this three day event. There are limited spaces available, however, these are moving fast.

Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd August 2009 at the famous fashion venue Royal Horticultural Hall Centre. The venue is centrally located in the heart of Westminster, and just a few minutes walk from Victoria mainline and tube station.

The London Designer Fashion Show, (L.D.F.S.), is pleased to announce that Fashion TV will be the main broadcast partner.
In addition to broadcasting the show on their channel, information on the L.D.F.S. event will be featured on their website (, which has approximately 10 million worldwide visitors per month, and in their weekly newsletter which is distributed to a database of retailers, designers, top and emerging modelling agencies, businesses and local and national newspapers four weeks prior to the L.D.F.S. event.
Fashion TV will also run a three minute advert daily promoting the L.D.F.S. event on their channel during the month of July. The channel will be present at the three day show, where they will film the catwalk show and interview designers, VIP guests, exhibitors, main sponsors and members of the public.
The show will then be broadcast on their channel daily throughout the month of September.
