Hello,

I was looking up an opportunity, to show at NYC Fashion Week for up and coming designers. I found an ad on Craigslist.com that said there was something called small business fashion week september 7th of this year at the Metropolitan Pavilion in NYC. So I submitted a portfolio. I got an email reply that I was selected, and needed to do a meet and greet, and submit 600 dollars for participation because of how big the opportunity is. I felt this was a little sketchy, and the email had lots of spelling errors, I'm trying to see if this is a scam?? Has anyone heard of small business fashion week, is it legit? Any experiences, just trying to get a feel for if they just want my money, or if this is an honest opportunity.
