Shopping second hand is shopping smart environmentally speaking.   When you walk into a thrift store, consignment store or estate sale and find a luxury piece the damage to the environment has already occurred.  I mean just think of the water it takes to provide us with a perfect top – slacks or  jacket, it takes a lot of water to manufacture an item, think of the dyes they use…  So getting to my point in a hurry I’m just saying when you shop smart you are doing your part to help our planet.  This is what I scored in the thrift store and I absolutely love this outfit.  The top is by Hale Bob and it is silk with a few beads here and there to bling up the top and the skirt was by a famous Italian company called Lancetti.  I believe they still manufacture their fragrances but not apparel but I also believe they are in a state of complete reorganization of management.   Pino Lancetti was 1 of the most prestigious creators of high fashion in Europe.  This label is concerned to top shelf and I would love to see these Chloe wrap around canvas espadrilles to keep things looking fresh and modern.  Stop by Doubletake my social media driven boutique when you are in Atlanta.  Toodles for now.  Daniel your luxury curator!
