Silicone grip dots on fabric

I am seeking information on the process of adding silicone dots to fabric, creating a non skid, non movable effect. Any one out there know: 1.What method is used? 2.Is it done in the US? 3.Does the fabric have to reach high temperatures? I have been researching this for months and can't find anything about it except certain products that have already used the process.
