I recently got my hands on a cozy Patagonia fleece, and I'm absolutely in love with it! However, I'm a bit perplexed about the proper way to clean and maintain it to ensure it lasts for many adventures to come.

I've heard conflicting advice on how to wash a patagonia fleece – some say to use a gentle cycle in the washing machine, while others recommend handwashing. And then there's the question of detergent – should I use a specialized fleece detergent or something else?

Could you please share your tips and experiences on how to wash a Patagonia fleece effectively? Any do's and don'ts would be greatly appreciated!
