QUESTION ON DESIRED QUALITY OF MEN'S SHIRTS FOR GRAPHICS

I'm currently working on starting a graphic polo/ button-down shirt line. I'm wondering what the desired weight is for 100% cotton as well as for 50/50. I'm also wondering if there is a good chart/visual resource and a recommended manufacturer that provides the true standard sizes.
