I am a 22 yo normal and straight guy. It happens to really like the over-the-knee boots "trend", that, by the way, has also been proposed by some designers for us guys too (like Givenchy)..
Actually, the topic is a bit particular i think, yet all the fashion experts i've contacted told me to go for it! I've been looking for a long time for a nice pair of boots for myself that would look perfectly unisex and simple (like the Weitzman Hilo boots here beneath in the pic, which i like a lot), to wear above jeans (not everyday of course but just once in a while).
I would like to remind everyone that boots were first made for men and that a lot of footwear in modern fashion is totally unisex, e.g. Dr.Martens, Converse Allstar etc. and look the same on both genders.
What do you think? Every tip is so welcome! :D
The look i have in mind (and i like it really a lot) would look be more or lesslike the ones in these pics (found on the web). just simple and discrete..
these could easily be the feet of a 22yo guy like me... is it so outrageous or bad looking? i think that these boots can be pulled off by guys who wear them with this simplicity..just a pair of jeans and simple, discrete boots..
