Louis Vuitton was a French trunk maker in the 1800’s. He designed luxury baggage, and that was it. His son carried on the tradition, and created the famous LV logo you see stamped all over many of their bags – but he actually did it to prevent counterfeiting. Funny, considering how many fake bags exist today!
