How to take care of chanderi fabric?

Because Chanderi cloth is translucent, particular maintenance is required.

To protect the Zari embroidery, it is advised to dry clean the fabric.
If you're washing it in a machine, use cold water and light detergent to wash the fabric.
Avoid drying the fabric outside in the sun.
Never use high heat to iron.
Please avoid spraying deodorant directly on Zari's artwork to preserve its shine.

I never knew that dry cleaning was the best option for preserving the Zari embroidery. Washing in cold water with a light detergent makes sense too. And I'll definitely keep in mind to avoid drying it outside in the sun and using high heat while ironing. Oh, and thanks for the heads up about not spraying deodorant directly on the Zari artwork.
