There are two main ways right now fashion is going digital. First is fashion’s big move into E-sports. Balenciaga collaborated with Fortnite to provide exclusive in-game outfits and sneakers to its 350 million players along with a physical merch line. Recently, virtual fashion items and designing skins for game companies like Riot Games and Roblox have become a new business model.

Brands like UNIQLO, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Gucci,  Louis Vuitton, and Nike are jumping into this new market. Digital Fashion has become so popular that Adidas even acquired virtual fashion brand RTFKT to expand into virtual sneakers and accessories.

There is no doubt that in the coming years many more brands will start making and selling digital fashion.

The second method is through NFTs, they made a big impact on fashion in 2021. From Gucci to Prada, luxury brands are selling one of a kind digital assets in the form of NFTs.

NFTs are especially attractive to fashion brands because of their anti-counterfeiting and protection of intellectual-property applications that cost fashion brands billions in losses.
