How exactly can I break into the Fashion Industry

I have college experience in Fashion, but would really like to work my way up in anyway. I am creative with in designing and constructing, but can’t draw for my life. So I tend to build up so many ideas but can't display them on paper. My interest has now broadened into event’s organizer or anything exciting and interesting. Help!!!
