Thanks for posting an informative thread here but I don't think face masks and air purifiers are enough to safeguard the patients at dental clinics. Actually, last week, I visited Bello Dental in Montebello, CA and found that they are perfectly handling this post-COVID-19 issue. Yes, they are not only using safety products but also overcome the waiting time and prevent the gathering the common or waiting areas. Similarly, they are using hand and area sanitization etc.

Moreover, if any of their staff gets any single sign of COVID, they suggest them to stay at home. Similarly, the same thing they are using for their patients. Yes, I entirely verified them that I don't have any sign of COVID and then I got an appointment. I think other dental clinics should also follow this kind of SOPs.

I also read this article on the 3rd of August, and according to ADA, there was no dental clinic coronavirus case reported in all states of America. Withal, it is still a high-risk industry, and we need to be very careful.

well, this is a wonderful idea about spreading the virus through teeth, relating to dental equipment, I think there is no need to take such precautions for dental experiments, covid actually get a symptom of poring, through mouth air, through flue germs, as strong virus always rise through a liquid containing things and become a causative agent of coughing, fever, etc, but it just a mind game we should act upon on this and go to the url for measures. Thanks for the nice sharing.

Pretty sure masks and air purificators are not enough to keep the virus away. I'd like to think that all of the dental clinics out there had these precautions well put in place even before the pandemic, and it was never an issue for them cause they were already taking safety precautions for other germs. I know that's not true though cause I've had some bad experiences myself at some of the dentistries I've been to in my life. I had to have a more serious job done and that was the moment when I searched for a better clinic. I'm pretty sure I found one of the best dentistry in Singapore, so I don't have to worry about covid outbreaks.
