Help! Where can I Buy Good raw denim fabric?

I'm interested in starting a clothing line for my dog and wanted to know where can I find good raw denim fabric? I'm located in Los angeles, CA and I've tried Michael's fabric, Mood fabric's and just about everywhere downtown LA. Every store carries the spandex denim. Any suggestions? I don't mind ordering online from a good vendor or driving further out of Los angeles. Thanks! :)
