Fashion Stylist

My daughter who is 14,would like to be a Fashion stylist.We live in Sydney Australia and are wondering where to look for so that she can get into this career.She started off wanting to become a fashion designer but has recently changed her mind and really wants to be a stylist.She would like to work for a magazine.What can she do to begin? Is there something in particular she should be doing right now to prepare for her chosen career? Please help us as we are stuck and do not know where to begin looking.It seems as though there is nothing like this available here,but maybe we are not looking in the right places.Please help us!
