Woodbury University will honor famed couture gown designer Sue Wong at
the 46th annual fashion show benefit on Sunday, May 2.
In addition to honoring Sue Wong as the fashion designer of the year, Woodbury University alumna and "Project Runway" participant Christiane
King, whose edgy, flirty designs are popular with young Hollywood, will
be recognized with Woodbury's inaugural Rising Star Award. The work of
Woodbury fashion design students will be celebrated at the
Swarovski-enhanced fashion show, emceed by CBS 2 and KCAL 9
meteorologist Josh Rubenstein.
The theme for the 2010 show presented by the Woodbury Department of Fashion Design is "ASiATiKOS" to celebrate influences from the
varied cultures of Asia.
