Erin Manning: Fashion, Philosophy, and Movement

Hello, My name is RT Simon, a Montreal based photographer and I would like to introduce the fashion of Erin Manning. http://erinmovement.com/erin_manning_fashion.html Erin Manning is first and foremost a philosopher, author, university instructor, dancer, artist and former model. But fashion is her personal passion, with all her designs created for her personal use. With such a busy schedule working with graduate students in the Arts and Humanities and her own relational art practice, Erin has told me she simply does not have the time to oblige the offers by several Montreal designers to help her market her creations. I work with Erin in several artistic/academic capacities: as her photographer, flash (website) designer and occasional artistic collaborator. The website I am introducing to this forum captures some of Erin's style and charisma, where her command as both a dancer and former model are clearly apparent. The website design is meant to offer the viewer numerous comparisons of different clothing styles and body poses. We invite you to come and play. And please, send Erin your comments.
