Hello everyone!

Just wanted to give a quick thanks for actually reading this post.

I am quite new to the industry..freshly graduated from school.

I am working freelance at the moment, but have NO IDEA what I should be charging.

Currently I will be paid a weekly amount for helping my employer do some research on trends, manufacturers, designers opinions, etc...which is no issue.

My issue lies in the other projects I will be doing for her.

I will be doing her pattern making, tech packs and possibly samples.

I can't charge her hourly because she doesn't have an actual physical place of business.

I have tried searching the web to find some bit of information but all i could come up with was yearly salaries, which doesn't help me out.

I'll be doing work for 4-5 garments.

What do you guys think? Any advice will be great.

THANKS!

-D
