Indian dresses are known for their bling factor and embellishments, whether it’s a designer saree, salwar kameez or a lehenga choli. In the Indian fashion milieu, the past decade has witnessed the emergence of the designer kurti as the most versatile and easy to wear clothing. It became a rage among the college goers too. The college campus would be abuzz with students sporting cotton designer kurtis and kurtas with a pair of jeans. Over time, more experimentation resulted in revamping of the simple silhouette of the kurti to evolve into more stylish versions with creative cuts, patterns and styles. Models were seen sashaying down the runways in designer kurtis and Indian dresses, elegantly styled with Indian fashion jewelry.
