Grace Kelly, in 1956

Even though has passed for almost 30 years, Grace Kelly, is still praised and missed by most people. This site gracekelly.com is made especially for memorize her.

In 1956, the 26 years old Grace Kelly married Prince Rainier of Monaco. What Miss Kelly would wear and who the designer would be were headlines in leading newspapers around the world. Among numerous choices, Helen Rose was nominated to finish this challenge.

The designer Rose hired thirty-five MGM craftspeople who labored six weeks to create the wedding gown. Helen Rose felt the dress should be “..simple but elegant, feminine, ladylike but not necessarily regal. It should not overpower Grace’s beauty…”

That goal was surpassed! It has become the standard by which all others are judged for bridal elegance. This wedding dress has been considered one of the loveliest dresses for a bride ever made.

Most of us are not strange with these films Rome Holiday , Funny Face, Breakfast at Tiffany's and My Fair Lady. Yep, all are acted in by Audery Herpben. No one can deny the charm, grace, gorgeous and chic of Audery Herpben.   Here is a photo of a wedding dress that she wore in the 1954 flick Sabrina.

I’m not sure if this was the first wedding dress to make use of black lace embellishments, but that’s just the thing with Audrey Hepburn: she can take something old and wear it with so much grace, its style and class factor instantly transcends time.

Since Sabrina, a lot of designers took their cue from Audrey Hepburn and started including black lace embellishments into their white wedding dresses

Incidentally, Audrey Hepburn’s real wedding dress was far simple. Following is the real wedding dress of Audery Herpben

Jacquline Kennedy's Wedding Dress

She is remembered for her contributions to the arts and historic preservation, her style and elegance, and her public stoicism in the wake of President Kennedy's assassination

Even as a young bride of 24, Jacqueline still possessed the poise, grace and subtle sex appeal she became known for.  The new Mrs. Kennedy wore an Anne Lowe Wedding gown that was made of 50 yards of ivory silk taffeta and a full bouffant skirt woven with tiny white flowers. She added a touch of colour with tiny orange blossoms in her hair.  The focal point of the look was the portrait neckline of her gown that showcased her beautiful shoulders and neck, which was adorned with a single strand of family pearls.

Madonna's Wedding Dress

First of all Madonna has never not looked sexy throughout all her years of singing, acting, and dancing. However, she looked especially stunning in her wedding dress with Sean Penn. The black ruffle across her bodice was such an inspiration to add extra flairs to your wedding dress as it doesn’t always have to be plain Jane.
