Should we embroidery on cut panels or embroider on full rolls of fabric?

There are embroidery machines that can embroider individual patterns on panels of fabric and other machines that can embroidery a continuous pattern onto whole rolls of fabric. Embroidery cost are typically counted by stitches for individual pattern. If we work embroidery over the whole rolls of fabric, after we placed the markers within the fabric width, there will have spaces among patterns which will be cut out and cannot be used, if this cut off area consist of embroidery, that means this is wastage. Because the embroidery is expensive and you are paying by stitch, you certainly do not want the embroidery cut out and left as waste. As a manufacturer, we would want as little waste as possible. An important fact to keep in mind is that when you embroidery on cut parts (panels), you will be using more labor which also has a cost. A factory will need to do careful calculations to determine which method of embroidery will actually provide a cost benefit. Timing of the order may be another consideration. Placing the embroidery on panels may provide benefits other then cost. For example if you were producing sleep pants and using embroidery on panels, the factory can control to avoid the embroidery patterns to appear on the sewing seams and on waistband area, so the outlook can be better, sewing can be tidy and smooth, the gathering on the waistband will be more even.
