Material/Fabric's

Hello All, I wondering if anyone can help? I have designs that I want to produce in Asia. Do I have to source my own fabrics or can I send swatches of the types fabrics I am looking for and then they find similar patterns/types of fabric to what i am looking for? Thanks, Peekaboo
