By the way, you can use dishwashing liquid to remove sticky residue from furniture. The use of mineral spirits would be optional. 

Stain or Paint the Wood

Painting is definitely an option to remodel old furniture, but I personally go with the staining option. It keeps your furniture looking natural and sounds more elegant option. If you think your furniture has a rough surface and scratches, you can apply stain. Before its application, it is better to sand the surface. 

Apply Furniture Polish

Polishes and waxes give shine to your furniture. Indeed, shiny furnishings put a positive impact on customers and sales. So, you should try this furniture polish for daily or weekly use. Yes, furniture polishes are suitable for a variety of wood furniture types, and you can benefit from them without any damage. Correspondingly, make sure you are using a semi-solid or silicon-free furniture polish. Leave them on wood furniture for a few minutes, and then wipe them out with a microfiber or soft cloth.

Move Carefully

You should also ask your staff to remove wood furnishings with more care. This tip can surely avoid further scratches and damage. The use of detachable silicon covers is useful when it comes to moving wood items from one place to another.
