My name is Shawn Jones and I am the Chairman of Board of Wul Jeans USA, LLC. Wul Jeans USA, LLC. is a New Apparel Company that is designing a new premium denim line name "BlackStar" Denim. Shawn established along with his wife Josette Breazell, Wul Jeans USA, LLC. in December 2007. Shawn is an accomplished Fashion Designer who has established a 17-year record of outstanding achievement.

During his seventeen-year tenure as a Freelance Designer/Patternmaker/Head Stylist, Shawn was responsible for creative styling for clients. Arrange garment production of custom designs using local and out of state contractors. Advise and assist clients in creating designs and fabric sourcing. Attain measurement specifications on individual/groups. Perform clothing alterations and fittings on customers. Create patterns from measurement specifications. Coordinate clothing for movie and video scenes. Cast actors and extras. Managed budget for fabric and clothing production. Create images for clients. Worked on production to fit and clothes 1000 people. Design and produce costumes for World Tours and Music Videos.
Shawn began his career before graduating from College of Alameda. (ADAM) Apparel Design and Merchandising program in May 1995. Between 1989 and Now, he served as a Freelance Designer/Patternmaker/Head Stylist – first as an apprentice tailor for Ritz Tailoring in Oakland, CA. Later joining Doan’s Tailors in Oakland, CA. He served as Designer/Stylist for videos and movies production companies.
“The sun will never set" on BlackStar Denim
We are designing a new label called “BlackStar Denim” for women and men, later children.
BlackStar Denim comes from the Blackstar Movement of Marcus Garvey, Bob Marley and Emperor Haile Selassie I. We would like to build an international brand that can live on and use the slogan “One God! One Aim! One Destiny!” and “The sun will never set” on BlackStar Denim Jeans.
We would like to put the roots back into Africa by creating a ECO friendly line around the spirit and movement for change in Africa and use it’s natural resource to make jeans, jackets, coats, t-shirts, polos, skirts, hats, boots and knits made of natural cottons harvested in Africa and incorporate some of the tribal prints and designs into the clothing.
The centerpiece of our collection is to create a rare brown, red and green selvedge denim jean. The cotton that is used is Zimbabwean cotton, which is naturally grown and harvest in Africa. We would like to make denim hand woven on vintage selvedge looms and dip dyed. A process in which we can create the rich dark finishes.
We would like to make eight jean styles for women made of Japanese denim with different washes/finishes and five styles for men.
“BlackStar Denim’s” mission is to create a strong name brand in Premium Denim and Casual Wear markets domestically and internationally.
By capitalizing on the current denim fashion trends “BlackStar Denim” evolves around the “Perfect Fit”. “Think! Second skin”, the Perfect Fit is not just about fitting the body. It’s about fitting the natural body of different physiques. A need too fit more women and men that have problem areas. We want comfort and ease in our jean(s).

As We Grow UP!
As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time.
