- Alex Thompson started out in the fashion industry in 1993 as a teenage Model for Next in Manhattan. She has done ad compaigne's for Guess Marciano, Shisiedo, Aveda, Miss Sixty. She has also walked for Betsy Johnson, Alexander Mcqueen, Moschino and Akris. After a long break from modeling, Alex gained the drive to go back into modeling in 2002 working with some of the best photographers in the industry and appearing in editorial spreads. It was during her time off that she was able to travel and obtain different percpectives and visions of what fashion is from various cultures. This evoked her natural talent she already posessed as a young teen, and that was piecing looks together to creat a style .....her own innovative style non the less. Since her high school days, Alex's peers have followed her style and she was the go to for fashion advice, the same remains today. " I originaly wanted to be a designer, but I couldn't sit still long enough to learn how to draw or anything else for that matter."
In 2006 Alex decided she didn't want to be the doll that other's dressed up anymore, she wanted to dress others. So she started her own free lance business as a Fashion Stylist, working on the same fashion spreads and runway shows she has worked on as a Model. She just started her Image Consultig company in 2008. Her clients vary from Designers to Photographers, Art Collectors, Artists, CEOs, the corporate and political scene.
Alex is an advocate for Socially moral issues and views, she is a member of PETA, Greenpeace, ACLU, and a philanthropist for many other charities.

- "I'm always thinking ahead. In 2009 fashion is going to revolute for the next 10 years to follow. Whatever political and social spectrum one is dealing with will influence their moods and what they are feeling and that will subconsciously affect what they put on. I can only derive from my own style, and this summer it was my Chanel clutch even with denim & flipflopps, big exotic rings from Alexis Bittar and Laura Hill, my Viktor&Rolf anckle sandels, and my Temperly London Shirt/dress. Fall; always a fitted leather crop jacket and a huge bright colorful Hermis or Belisi Scarf, Boots with buckels and zippers, cargo jackets and wool hats/scullys, belted jackets and coats, apprel with political and social messages. and hats, for me coloful small brim hats (Tuleh) are going to be big this Fall 08 and winter 09."
