- My name is Nina, I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and moved to miami at the age of seventeen to pursue my dream of becoming a fashion designer.
Ive been studiying fashion for the past two years at the Art Institute of Miami and before that I used to take fashion illustration and patternmaking and cosntruction classes as an extracurricular activity outside of school. Im currently a student but Im looking for something more than what my school offers. I would love to learn more about the industry on my own and start as a freelance fashion designer or asst. designer as soon as possible.
- Fashion Industry Experience
- I currently work at a boutique in downtown miami art district and I work as staff in fashion shows, trunk shows, etc around the area. That I would say is the closest that Ive been to the industry.
I was also chosen for the Arts Of Fashion for the fall 08 season on november and im currently working on that. I was also in the Miami International Arts and Design Fashion Show this past spring.
