About Me ...: HI, I recently moved to the Uk from South Africa, actually via Madrid, I was there for a year.
I am finding it really difficult to get anywhere finding a job here as it seems to be very closed industry and people keep telling me I "musthave contacts!" So any help would be much appreciated!!!

Fashion Industry Experience: I qualified from LISOF design school (Johannesburg SA), and went on to be a production assistant and then visual merchandiser for Sottish Knitwear (Pringle UK). After that I went on my own styling and designing costumes for various event management /production companies before becoming an account exec for a corporate clothing company. I was promoted to brand manager and spent 2 years doing that, before I felt I needed to leave South africa, where I then moved to Spain and spent a year teaching English and learning Spanish. I am now ready to get back into fashion and would really like to move into buying!.. thats the short of it really!!

What is hot in fashion this year?: Leggings!!!! Pumps, paisely-ish and florals teaxtiles, waistcoat (love them!!!)
