- About Me ...
- I am originally from South Africa, but moved to Switzerland when I was 12, and have now been living in the Netherlands since I was 15. I graduated in July 2007 with a Bachelors degree in Communications, Advertising and Design Management. I also took part in an exchange program for my Communications study in Antwerp, Belgium. During my Bachelors course, I refined my studies in branding, risk management, event planning, human resources and marketing skills. By completing a number of projects, I have been able to perfect my skills in compiling a Business Plan, Event Plan, Promotion Plan, Communications Plan and Media Plan. While studying creative computer programs, I ahve improved my skills in Photoshop, Indesign, Dreamweaver, SPSS, and Microsoft Office.
I am now busy with a part-time Masters degree in International Communications Management in Utrecht, The Netherlands. The majority part of assignments done during this course are directly related to Communications activities regarding IAF.
- Fashion Industry Experience
- Before starting in my position with IAF, I worked as Project Manager at Bibi van der Velden; Wearable Works of Art. There I maintained all PR activities, compiled a Press Kit and organized the fashion show during Amsterdam International Fashion Week in January 2007.
