About Me ...: I am a very nice, out-going young lady who likes to move to new heights. I plan to be a fashion designer and someday fashion mogule. I have big goals and am always expanding them because i feel that there is nothing out of my reach (as long as i work hard for my goals).

I know that with dedication, i will learve a HUGE mark in the fashion industry.

Fashion Industry Experience: I am currently a college student majoring in Fashion Merchandising / textiles. In a few years I will earn a degree in Fashion design.
I have completed my first year in college!

Favorite Fashion Designer or Fashion Brand: so many.....I love the Babyphat brand (it embraces being fabulous)

What is hot in fashion this year?: BOLD, bright colors (keep some balance in it though), paterns and floral prints are making a come back. Belted shirts/jackets/tops are still IN. Trench coats are in so get rid of those puffy, bubble coats!!!
peep teo shoes, pumps and flats are still in. Lastly, two words: GO TRIBAL. (African, Native American, Chinese, Indian, etc... have nice prints and styles that are hot for 2008)

For the Summer, when it's hot out and you decide to hit the beach cut-out swiming suits are nice and appealing.

But I can tell you the reason I chose Marist was specifically for their study abroad programs. I could not yet tell you much about the program at my college other than what is listed on their website under course descriptions and such. But I will tell you that if you get the oppurtunity to study abroad, go for it. Its really an eye opening experience. Its interesting to see others take on fashion and the industry.
